Outline DBS18-2 High Power Ground-Stackable Subwoofer: 2 × 18″
Engineered for uncompromising low-frequency authority, the Outline DBS18-2 combines cutting-edge driver technology with Outline’s patented Decoupled Baffle Subwoofer architecture to deliver thunderous, high-definition bass in a compact, tour-proven enclosure.
Innovative Decoupled Baffle Design
The DBS18-2’s long, large-surface reflex port and internally decoupled baffle virtually eliminate port turbulence and cabinet resonances, maximising efficiency and clarity down to 28 Hz. Dual 18″ long-excursion woofers operate in perfect phase alignment, ensuring tight, musical bass even at extreme output levels.
Unrivalled Acoustic Performance
With 2 × 1200 W AES continuous power handling (9600 W peak) and the ability to generate 147 dB SPL peak in half-space, this subwoofer effortlessly meets the demands of arenas, festivals and high-end installations. An extended usable response of 34 Hz–107 Hz (±3 dB) integrates seamlessly with top-boxes, while quasi-omnidirectional dispersion blankets the audience with consistent low-end energy.
Road-Ready Construction & Deployment
Crafted from 18 mm phenolic-glued Baltic-birch plywood, the DBS18-2 features a scratch-resistant, waterproof black finish and an anti-resonant steel grille. Twenty-four integrated flying points, recessed handles and an optional trolley board simplify ground-stacking, rigging and transport, while a single Speakon NL4 connector provides discrete channels for each transducer.
